The word "ruckus" simply means disturbance. God has always been great at causing a disturbance. Noah was living a pretty good life. He was walking with God. He had a great family. He quite possibly was living a perfect life. Then God came to him and said, "I want you to build an ark. I am going to flood the earth. It's going to rain and I am going to save you and your family because you follow me." It caused a "ruckus" in Noah's life.
There was Moses who led the Israelites out of Egypt, David the shepherd made king, Daniel in a den of lions, Peter the fisherman the list is endless.
Then there is you. What kind of ruckus does God want to cause in your life? Then there is the youth group, what kind of ruckus does God want to cause in the youth group or outside the youth group?
God wants to make some noise and he may be wanting you to do it. So what are you going to do? Live your same ole boring life or let God make some noise with your life?
We are going to kick off the Fall September 14th at the Jacobs. There will be a fire, smores and noise. If you are in Jr/Sr High come and let God cause a ruckus in your life.
